Certain acupuncture techniques, moxibustion, and cupping therapy are gentle treatment options suitable for most children and teens who experience anxietyandmooddysregulation,teenmenstrualpainandPMS, sleepdisturbances,digestiveissues,injury, and more. Ages 7-17.

Infrared heat lamps are often used during treatment, penetrating into the deep layers of tissue, expelling cold, aiding circulation, and supporting cell regeneration. Both therapies can relieve specific types of pain in the joints and tissue, accelerate recovery, and assist optimal organ functions — boosting digestive and metabolic functions, for example. Importantly, cold can get trapped in the uterus leading to menstrual pain, gynecological issues, and difficulty conceiving. Moxibustion (herbal heat therapy) involves burning mugwort on or near acupuncture points, adding heat plus herbal properties to the points and is commonly used during treatment for breech baby.
