Comprehensive Solutions for Optimal Health

Acupuncture + Electro Stimulation

With personalized diagnosis and point prescriptions, acupuncture is a strong tool for enhancing quality of life by aiding a variety of ailments during each stage of life. Acupuncture can be safely and beneficially integrated into many modern medical treatments such as cancer care, IVF/IUI, pre and post surgery, etc. Electrostimulation may be applied based on personal needs.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping creates local suction which pulls apart tissue fibers and creates blood circulation to the area of focus. There are numerous benefits including pain and tension relief, accelerated recovery, detoxification, immunity boost, increased circulation to the organs for optimal functioning, temperature regulation + more.

Facial Acupuncture + Gua Sha

Holistically approaching skin health, acupuncture points on the body are needled in conjunction with facial acupuncture points. Bodily functions are harmonized (such as digestion) while local blood flow and collagen production are promoted to benefit skin conditions and facial appearance. Gua sha techniques increase lymph flow to sculpt natural features, smooth skin texture, reduce scarring and puffiness, even skin tone, and reinforce the facial acupuncture treatment.

Child + Teen Treatments

Certain acupuncture techniques, moxibustion, and cupping therapy are gentle treatment options suitable for most children and teens who experience anxiety and mood dysregulation, teen menstrual pain and PMS, sleep disturbances, digestive issues, injury and more. Ages 7-17.

Infrared Heat + Moxibustion

Infrared heat lamps are often used during treatment, penetrating into the deep layers of tissue, expelling cold, aiding circulation, and supporting cell regeneration. Both therapies can relieve specific types of pain in the joints and tissue, accelerate recovery, and assist optimal organ functions — boosting digestive and metabolic functions, for example. Importantly, cold can get trapped in the uterus leading to menstrual pain, gynecological issues, and difficulty conceiving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Passed on and refined through generations of Chinese dynasties and proven effective for millenia in the treatment and prevention of illness, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine has made its way to the western world, benefiting an ever-increasing amount of people from diverse nations, backgrounds, and ages.

”After the victory of the Chinese Revolution in 1949, the Chinese decided to take a fresh look at their traditional medical system. Many of China’s new leaders were tempted to discard their pre-scientific medical inheritance, along with their old-fashioned practices and remnants of underdevelopment. .. Another faction of the leadership, however, saw that although China did need to accept modern medicine, there might also be some practical theoretical usefulness in the traditional medicine. The issue was whether or not it would prove efficacious from a modern perspective. To answer the question, the Chinese performed thousands of experiments and clinical studies .. The result was that in 1958 the Central Committee decided to give traditional and modern medicine equal respect and place in China. .. The pages of such studies fill entire libraries, yet it is not their quantity that is important, but rather their conclusions: that traditional Chinese medicine can hold its own, that it does work clinically.” [The Web That Has No Weaver — Ted J. Kaptchuk]

Many fall asleep during a treatment and may feel tired afterwards as the body calls for rest. Resting states allow our body’s natural healing mechanisms to dominate while systemic reparation takes place.

Many insurance companies now cover TCM services and acupuncture, showing that these highly beneficial treatment options are becoming integrated into western health care.
